MOPS & MOMSNEXT
... This is motherhood
Smokey Point Community Church (SPCC) is in its 14th year of MOPS – an international organization that exists to encourage, equip and develop every mother to realize her potential as a woman, mother, and leader in the name of Jesus Christ. We are a group for moms with children from pregnancy through elementary school.
WHAT IS MOPS?
MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, a program designed for mothers with children under school age – conception through kindergarten. Approximately 4,000 MOPS groups gather throughout the United States, Canada, and numerous other countries to meet the needs of more than 100,000 women each year.
Mothers, not all the same age, but all in the same phase of life. Women with different lifestyles and different backgrounds, but all with similar needs and a shared desire to be the best mothers they can be!
WHAT IS MOMSNEXT?
MomsNext is a group for mothers of school-age kids. MOPS International believes Better Moms Make a Better World. This is true during the preschool years and beyond. As mothers enter the school years, new challenges and issues arise, but the need for community and hope remains.
WHEN DOES OUR MOPS and MomsNext MEET?
MOPS runs from September to May and meets every Thursday from 9:30 AM-12:00 PM.
WHERE DOES OUR MOPS MEET?
We meet at Smokey Point Community Church in Smokey Point.
17721 Smokey Point Blvd Arlington, WA 98223
